Nice catch X3

The only reason I prefer a 9191 because it has needles instead of LED's.

deech - 2013-05-30 11:31

Thanks Elektroneko !

The GF-9191 is also nice. After all its  a Clash bbox.

Metad if you see this post

the serial number of this gf 9292 is

91034394

Do you know when was it made?

70s or 80s ?

northerner - 2013-05-30 11:48

Nice one Deech...I'd love that model to go with my other GF's...I like the extra chrome on the tweeters

elektroneko - 2013-05-30 12:28

The 9191 was from '78-'79, so I guess the 9292 was from around the same time, maybe a year later. Not newer then '80 though.

If I have to guess when the box is made, I think it's a earlier made box.

My logic is: First two numbers are model nr. 91 = 9191, the 9292 is a slightly updated 9191 technically wise, so the factory number could be the same.

Last numbers is 034394. Fairly low. Most certainly if the first numbers belong to the 9191.

Can someone with a 9191 confirm my theory?

Thats right ElektroNeko

from the presentation that member Metad made(on the everything about thread) it says its been produced from oct 79 till may 80.

For stat reasons and out of curiocity i d be interested to know the month !

Is mine  A 70s or an 80s box???

bison - 2013-05-30 12:55

nice..theres one for sale over here at the minute, they dont turn up that often

lav.loo - 2013-05-30 13:19

great score Deech nicer than the 9191, that serial number dates it to January 9th 1980 I'm sure. the first 3 digits are the day, month, and year. so your codes first 3 numbers are 910, 9= the 9th day, 1= January, and 0 =80..... congrats it's a beaut
