Collection 'Sets'

Just got a lovely Sharp QT250 in black over the weekend which is a competent little box but hardly likely to cause any stirrings in the trouser department!

However, it's just what I needed for my QT250 set. One of the things I like about the small 80's boxes is the different colours they came in and once you get one, you can't help but get all of them! I've also got a few Sharp WQ268E's and I'm building up my Sharp QT27 collection and Philips Roller set.

Philips Roller

Anyone else got any 'sets'?

I've got three QT250's in my shed, all in good nick and fully working

Or at least they were...I've been stripping them for parts...the rubber wheel from the deck of one went in Schneil's 9191...the aerials went on my GF575 and GF9000 etc etc.  I pick up every one I see locally.  The only other one I've got is a QT27 but that was completely dead so again is being cannabalised

Shame really as QT250's are pretty good for a little box but they sacrifice their lives in a good cause

Doesn't really count but I've got a Philips D8444 in every colour available...all two of them

How do you find the Roller for sound quality?

I remember it being quite popular in the late 80s.

For what they are, they're pretty good. They're pretty much what you'd expect. They go nice and loud but they'll never win any sound quality competitions. I think the image was more important than the sound on these. Still, I think they're cool!

Yeah I think it was the sorta thing you'd have had in your bedroom as a kid.

I remember looking at them, but my parents got me the red ITT instead.  I totally forgot about their existence until I saw your photo.
