thier is a tdk 3 speaker boombox on a local site and cant bring myself to buy it due to i dont know enough about the tdk, yet im wondering what or if rather they are worth buying

I have a TDK 3 speaker. It started giving me some problem recently. The volume seems to warp in and out occasionally and the white LED on the volume knob flickers.  sometimes the function indicator backlight fails to cut on also.
