Doing a favor for my colleague to look at an old MP3 player. This unit is not working as intended with intermittent output sound issue and losing the stereo function.

Took quiet an effort to disassemble the back aluminum cover even with the screws removed and only to find out that it was actually securely bonded along the lines.Gradually pry to overcome the adhesive, need to be patient and gentle to avoid excessive strength that could damaged and cracked the plastic casing.

( First appeared on sight was the battery pack that powers up the unit )
