I stumbled upon this interesting little boombox while searching for something else, it's the Panda CD-5000CD portable radio cassette recorder, and it's loaded with features. The only downside is that it runs on 250v, but it accepts 8 "D" cell batteries.

a new product with a tape player on board, very unusual aswell as loads of features and nice looks. I like it Retro thanks for sharing

Another no quality item from China,, i think sound quality is awful,, due to cheap parts
