Nice one andy, but one word of the biggest boombox warning i will give you..if the belts go on the tpr990,please dont bother trying to fix it,they have the ultimate worse, most complicated decks i have ever seen,i bought a 990 last week for £20,spent days and days trying to sort the deck out,i gave in and scrapped it..its in a big box now in a thousand pieces...

I`ve had a few good fortunes on boxes over the years, got a GF9500 for free off Driptip, got another for £5 in age concern, got a philips D9644 for £10 on car boot,Jvc PC55 £15 on car boot...

pretty much all mine have come from boot sales. probably the best one was the first, which was a gf 9090 for £10. got a crown 850 for £20 and a few others which were good for the coin. random sharps and the like for a few quid.

recently got a few other boot sale wins in other categories like a 70's musicman sabre II guitar for £110 and a 1930's pyramid gpo telephone for £8

hanksey72 - 2009-08-04 11:39

vz 2000 used as a door stop in a music shop 20 quid.
rx-c52 3 quid from my local booty.
