picked the rq-511s up the other day from a boot. now, im curious. werent all boxes destined for uk just panasonic, as are all my other boxes, or how did the badge engineering work?am i right in saying:
panasonic- uk and europe
national/national panasonic- japan/the americas/australia/new zealand
also, when does my rq-511s date to?
it was in terrible condition when i got it- covered in thick grime and nicotine. but ive cut that back now and given it a bit of tlc. not perfect yet but it will be. of course, the tape deck is knacked/belt gone.
not sure about cracking it open though. i also have the rx1750le which i got t'other day. that model is stereo, isnt it?- it has the standard speaker plus tweeter. and its really cool.

yeah sure aa, will be putting some up here, once my 32nd comes in october. but what joy! ive descovered the rq511s cassette deck does work- well only on play!!!!!!
