Crown ghettoblasters in London now with pics

billy.the.binman - 2009-07-09 11:49

Just got back from dropping off my ghettoblasters to a shop in london for their window display, sooo if youre in the area you might like to go check it out/

they should be there from next week in the windows of Browns on South Molton Street, just off Oxford street and directly across from Bond street choob station.

Apparently they are going to be rocking on the shoulders of mannequins!

So go check them out if youre in the area and get a photo up!

(theyre not for sale btw!)

billy.the.binman - 2009-07-09 14:15

yeah shouldnt fall theyre going to hang them from the ceiling by wires on the handle, so should be fine, i hope!

and we came to a good agreement on the price Wink plus i got a swanky carrier bag for my mother!

take pictures for us.

retro.addict - 2009-07-13 04:59

Which models have you lent them?

gld - 2009-07-24 02:04

Saw your boxes at South Molton Street. That must have been a nice little earner Wink. They have some of their displays with your boxes and the other display has musical instruments.

Did have a camera though. Sorry.

billy.the.binman - 2009-07-24 03:13

ah cool cool nice one!

damn they didnt say they needed instruments as well! i could have supplied them with it all!

glad people are seeing them atleast.

i lent them a couple of Crown sz5100's, one is mint the other not so mint but they both have reel tapes in them to show them off abit.

yeah wasnt a bad earner i gota admit it was pretty lucky and couldnt have hoped for a better shop to have asked to be honest!

going to try get a mate to take a photo if he heads that way otherwise ill just bite the bullet and spend £20 in train fares and take them myself

gld - 2009-07-24 04:32

I was going to say that it's not worth bothering to spend that money to go there and take pictures. But then again having those pictures would be a great selling point for you next gig, especially with a shop that is as prestigious as that.

billy.the.binman - 2009-07-25 15:11

yeah defo, id like to see what they did with them and its all stuff for the portfolio.

ive got a mate on the job tho so hopefully he took some photos for me yesterday.

billy.the.binman - 2009-08-04 05:57

just got some photos of them from the shop, got another set from a mate too which im yet to receive

Gee... The one in the Rubix cube display was originally up at an angle and then appeared to be flat... I hope it didn't slip. Confused
