Any info on that one?

opamox - 2010-01-12 05:34

I'm from Finland, near Helsinki. Smile

viennasound - 2010-01-12 05:45

I will check it out tomorrow! Wink

The JETSTAR is pretty nice Cool
Helsinki? Cool!
Many fleas there?

opamox - 2010-01-12 06:05

I actually live 35km north from Helsinki, a town called Järvenpää. :P

Here, where I live, we have several fleas, almost ten. More in the summer time. In Helsinki there are also quite many, but not right in the center so you'll have to know where they are.

The overall boombox selection in the fleas is quite appalling. Some from time to time here and there, but nothing special. The best find I had was last summer, the Qt27. Internet seems to be the best place to catch these babies...For example I got myself a Sanyo M-X920K from a local auction site for 40€!

I got that Jetstar from ebay.de, and I think it is german made. Google doesn't know anything about jetstars, so if anyone knows anything, it would be nice to hear. Smile

viennasound - 2010-01-12 10:41

Just pulled out the AUDIOTON and all i can say: Trash! Tap Toes
Sorry, not worth to get this thing.
Tiny sound off the small speakers and less quality.
But this is my thinking of it, don´t worry Wink

I will part it soon... Leaving

opamox - 2010-01-13 01:00

Ok, just what I thought. Smile Not worth getting. Thanks for your help!

opamox - 2010-02-10 07:42

Found this today:

Mitsubishi TX-65. It was cheap, just 10e and everything worked, but didn't get it because I just don't have space for it right now and I prefer more one piece boxes. Smile

Is this familiar to anyone?

viennasound - 2010-02-10 09:42

No doubt, 10euro it´s worth! I Agree
Also i think MITSUBISHI boxes are quite rare.
But the problem is always the storage space.... Frown

opamox - 2010-02-21 01:26

Anyone heard of Catron? :O
