His paintings usually go for $30. to $50. Which isn't too bad for an abstract oil 16 x 20 in size. Art is like boom boxes- people pay what they want, even if others think they're nuts. My brother just paid $2,800 for a sculpture I wouldn't pay $5.00 for!

superduper - 2009-11-06 17:55

I'm thinking he lists them at $12M or best offer. Obviously, he never sells any at $12M. So looking at his sold listings, most sell, like Drew says, at something much much lower. Like drop in a bucket lower.

So I just offered him $23. Let's see if I ever get a response! Big Grin

Does he give shipping discounts for multiple items? Laugh Out Loud

superduper - 2009-11-07 10:36

OK, my $23 offer/experiment has received an answer. I have received a counter offer and no, it's not $11M. It's not $10M. No it's not even $1k.

$65 and it's mine. But I think I can probably buy the real deal for $65 so I'm gonna back off. Anyone else want it?

jvc.floyd - 2009-11-07 11:11

wtf? if i wanted something like that it would be cheaper to just melt a real boombox on a piece of canvas ,if someone actually pays 12 million for that they are dumber than the seller.
