ysnow - 2009-11-04 10:03

Hi guys! I just bought a good condition Conion C100F on ebay...Its a great box and the sound is amazing...

which product would you use to clean the metal body? and the plastic?

I need to paint the grills too and I was wondering how to take them off?

Thanks in advance!

The grey GP200 is my new Lambretta, disk brakes, mid-tune...how do you like it?

Cheers!!!

number of things you can use, first off with mild soap and water...nothing abrasive...q-tips, rags...for the chrome parts ive used car wheel polish...make sure what you use or choose is safe for plastics or painted surfaces ive also use this product called plexus great for plastics and polishing some members have used orange glow as well...test else where always like an old beater before proceeding on that box with any product...congrats on that conion i had an eye on it but no funds...

Thanks man. Do you know how to take the grills off?

i believe your gonna have to disassemble some inside parts if not the whole insides to do so...if your gonna go through it make sure you label wires so you know what goes where when putting everything back...easy to forget some at times especially for a first timer...just some advise

You have to take all the insides out to remove the grilles.
