Hi all, Can some one tell me what is the make of this boom box it has a walkman cassette that you can detached from the Boom box.

Geoff is that W1E yours mate ? i had one of them when i was a kid,my dad bought it bran new..i cant even remember what it sounded like,how does it sound ?

yes its mine gettoman, sound aint that good but its ok, you got to remember i scored some good sound quality boxes in the last year so all my other one just dont compair, i got the W1E cause i liked the pop out walkman

geoff...thats not the only box on your wash machine that looks good................that san miguel and cider look pretty cool too

Wow gettoman, I know of one of those Amstrads local to me, the same one with one deck above the other, I had no idea the top deck was a pull-out walkman!

I noticed when looking at the box that it has bass and treble controls. How does the box sound? Also, what model is it?

Sorry RA for the late reply,i only just noticed this thread again..if you can get that Amstrad,i'de say definately go for it ! i've had loads of these over the years and i have a total soft spot for them,the amstrad is one of my faves,it sounds nice,it does'nt sound cheap,its loud and bassy,the speakers are reflex..oh the model is 8090..you will like it..let us know if you get it man..
