what is it about folks,eh guys?i placed a wanted advert in all the local press in west yorkshire over christmas and into the new year,to sell me (or even give me) old portable radio cassette recorders-how many replies have i had? nothing.sweet fa.has anyone done this before and had any results?because this doesnt work for me on the internet either-no replies!whats peoples problem?are you seriously telling me that no one has any left out there, besides us?or is it that pig of a site called ebay,combined with greedy people thinking they can get what they want?
does anyone remember what this scene was like prior to ebay?were these things more readily available?
oh, i did score yesterday-not a new girlfriend but a philips roller 2 £4 a big hitachi trk3d50 £10 and a small hitachi with digital display a fiver.1 off barnsley market and 2 out of my charity shop.
but i still cant find the elusive earlier 1 piece stuff,and in that category my trk 8290 and gf525 and gf9090 are looking decisively alone.

I run an advert in the local freeads for the last 6 months and nothing!!!! so have given up on the wanted ads !! just need to wait for the bootsales again!!nice sony Dave!!

i had a call yesterday from a guy trying to sell me an early 90s crappy sharp qt250-i told him no thanks-politely.
