to get a tip-busted aerial out of the inner sections. I usually end up screwing with it for an hour only to mess up everything. Is there anything to put on the end of the busted aerial tip to keep it from retracting agian once extracted? I know the best thing to do is replace the aerial entirely, but you know me....

If the tip is now a hole, use a screw that shapes like metal tacks. if the hole is closed, use a plier to squeeze it into a hole. Then use that screw. Hope this helps.
