can a zune be used instead of an ipod?

it may work if the zune accepts the same type of plug as an ipod when your charging or putting songs onto your ipod...but keep in mind the i931 is specifically made for the ipod so chances are maybe not...

If it has Aux inputs, sure. But then you would be forced to control the music via the Zune, not the i931.
