sony cfs 71s

I would to like to share with you guys my opinion
regarding the box I grew up with, the Sony cfs 71s.
This is not a large boombox, but it shows up a few qualities.
Lounced in 1979,it is part of the series including the cfs61,cfs63,cfs65,cfs67,cfs70.The design is basically the same, but the cfs 71s is the leader with its respectable output power, for its size,of 2x7,5W(2X4Wrms) and the 3 steps AMS(automatic muic sensor).Power consumption is 30w.
It's functions are simple, only the basic ones. Not big,but very concentrated inside where is not much unused space left, weights over 5kg without bat.
The mechanical is very solid(0,15%wrms).
PLUS-Clear sound, with a very good wide stereo effect(one of the best I know). This box goes prety loud(I can compare it with TPR950,RX55OO,RS4350)but unlike these, the more the volume increases the better is the sound. The distortion at max. is very low.
The 5 segment LEDmeter is very nice and accurate.
MINUS-The big minus is that it doesn't feature separate bass, treble controls and neither a loudness. That makes the sound flat with very shy bass and highs, although its clear.
In resume-a high quality, solide Sony box, with a full rich sound, good tuner, but not a boomer since the bass it's not activated by any of the responsable for that features.
Anyone owns one of this or from the series?
Thank you for your patience to suport my unperfect english.
