Hello

I just bought a Sanyo M 9998 - a very nice looking unit. But it would take 2 weeks till it will arrive at my house.

So my question is: how does this thing sound? Is this unit something for my Hifi-Ghettoblaster collection?

hi tom, i once had the m9998L a while back.
i don,t want to dissapoint you but i never rated the sound, in my opinion i thought it was very average
it is a nice looking unit though and well built.
if it,s sound your after it,s good highs but lacks bass.
hope this does,nt put you off because when all said it is a real nice box, also you may not agree with my taste in sound.

Probably the same as the M9888K......Never heard one, but Ben said it sounded great, with good bass that comes in early at low volume levels.
