Cheers guys..my local tip is pretty good and they put any 1970s/1980s audio related goods to one side for me.But Ive got to admit that sometime I dont turn up for a week or two so theres usually a bootfull.

yes ste after we met yesterday i can confirm the gf 6161 is a beauty-i love it-a keeper for sure!
the sanyo is a great little number-straight up led vu, good sound,good looks-another keeper-and the 8585 i got-well, need i say any more?
