hey guys!! got to share this story with you all i was,nt going to post out of embarrasment but hey what the hell.
a couple of weeks ago i got a bit high on the pop and had a few too many, anyway to cut a long story short me and a couple of friends decided to take my 9191 out for a spin
we grabbed it loaded it up with 10 d cells
and out we went.
i put an early 80,s mix tape in tunes like freez and grandmaster flash and so on, we walked to the pub and pumped out the tunes.
you would,nt believe the attention it drew, and i was,nt bothered as i was quiet pi**ed not my usual thing anyway after being stopped by almost everyone in the street aswell as people breakin, we arrived at the pub.
after a debate about whether to enter with the box we decided on a yes, and in we went.
the landlord looked at us in a strange way and said does that thing work!!
i replied with a sharp yes and gave him a demo, he was very impressed anyway i had to turn it off as karaoke was playing but it did,nt stop one of my friends dancing round with it on he,s shoulder all in all a great night just like old times and me and the 9191 made it home in one piece i would deffinetly do it again sometime

Yeah top idea..i'de walk out with either my Jumbo,Conion or GF777..and "for once" i would feel safe.."but at 40" i'de feel slightly silly and out of place though..

I am not a real collector because I only have two boomers, but I do carry mine out very often.

As for being 40, Ghettoman, I am 40 too and on the very rare occassion people ask about my age, I just say it's a bit of fun and a good few dashes of mid-life crises (which generally gets them laughing).

What you need to do, Lav Loo, is take one of your big guns out! THEN you'll get a SERIOUS reaction (BELIEVE ME). Next time, I suggest you get high on the music not the drink because you may have an accident and damage your boombox.
