national rx c45-in uk

gentlemen, and ladies,
we are all familiar with the panasonic rx c45 3 piece box-but the national version?how rare is the national version in the uk-and does anyone out there know where this would have been marketed when new?it cane with an ac cord that had a 2 prong adapter on the end.ste and i reckoned australia-i thought more possibly u.s, or even japan domestic market?
i really would appreciate any info you guys can share Wink

i'm not sure where the national version came from,i always thought they were only sold as "national" in japan..
i did have a Rx c45,it cost me a fiver from Royal,it needed attention,i repaired it and i really liked it alot,good quality mini style box..well done old bean Smile

If it's 100 volt and the prongs on the plug are straight, then it's Japan, if it's 240 volt and the prongs are angled on the plug, the it's Aussie.

Japanese is Type A class 2

Australian is Type I, although most electrical appliances use only the top two prongs, as they are double insulated and don't require Earth return.

In Oz National was sold in the early 80's after that it was Panasonic
