As we are on the subject of the 8304, I've posted in the wanted section asking if anyone has got an original Philips yellow and black carry strap, also my volume sliders are missing.

It's a shame cos its really clean with original stickers. Let me know if anyone can help me out with these items.

Not to everyones taste this box, but I really like it!

hey KENNEDY, im sorry i can,t help you out there mate as iv,e never had that philips No No i was going to get one of epay a while back but bottled it cos im unsure of the look.
anyway i was just going to add that they sell on ebay regular and quiet cheap too, hope you get the bits you need, good luck Wink

kennedy - 2010-08-16 01:55

Cheers LAV', I spotted one on ebay last week that sold for £17 I think as it had problems, but including postage I'd have been lookin at nearly £30 to get it just for the strap.

Like you say though, there's plenty about so it shouldn't take too long for a beater to show up that I can get the bits from, or someone on here might part one out.

For looks, I know what your saying. The D8304 doesn't have the classic boombox lines, isn't that weighty, and is kinda plastic looking, BUT, I like it for what it is. I quite like the kitsch look of this so I'l be keeping this one for a bit (unless you wanted to swap for your D8614 Wink)
