I found one of these in the wild today for $30. Everything appears to work. It is minus one light cover on the back and the tuning dial. It's not a Sharf GF-777, but it might bring in some $$$$ Pink

I guess that was the one! Hey Retro, once I get it working perfectly and send it down the Ebay highway......you sell me that big old Fisher PH-490 for 1/4 of the Disco-light selling price? After all, I'm hearing from all the light lovers that the Fisher isn't as rare and cool as the Discolight.

I guess this topic must have got heated on the other boombox site as Dynasty Discolight topic was removed. Maybe someone who wanted the box from afar was ticked that I got it and didn't want to sell it to them cheap. I had four guys say they've been wanting one or they just loved Discolights in any condition. Three offers to buy a couple hours after I posted thread and pics. Ding, Ding, Ding, Pink stupid bell alarm sounds!!!! Geez guys, it's only stuff. I never had these kinds of troubles before Discobox. Life was so much easier before I saw that craigslist ad. Pink

I saw that Driptip is a member over there. I guess some of the old guys do both sites? Panasonic Fan still hang out here? Retro was always stand up guy here. Hard to find Ghettoblasters in the wild anymore. I came across two this year, but a long dry spell before then. Pink

...actually the topic was moved to the for sale section when you mentioned you were selling it...so it is still there... ...and from what I read everyone on the "other" site gave you kudos for finding a nice box in the wild and offered you advice on fixing the problems. Seems odd that you would bad mouth them. They seem like a good bunch of guys to me...but your negative comments seem to fit what has been going on here lately. What happened to collecting for the love of it and enjoying this hobby collectively?? I hope things get turned around here because I feel both boombox sites have plenty to offer without the negativity.

I just bought a dynasty off of ebay. I am tsx387 on the other site and am intersted in other dynastys. I am trying to get the screen name changed on here to match though. I am new to the boombox collecting scene and wanted to say hi. I am one of the people that asked if this was for sale because I think they are so neat. I am also looking for a sharp 777. Enough rambling.
