... you got that right brother Tim. Or anyone here in the US 'cause I imagine the mailing on one'a those from Hong Kong would be prohibitive to say the least... I think it's an optical illusion the way it looks squished, just the sheer size of that 999 is crushing...

oldskool69 - 2008-05-28 03:02

Sweet stuff you have there Henry. Does the 999 sound much different than the 777? Smile

Great pictures as always Henry! The GF-999 makes the Pioneer look tiny! Big Grin

I Agree I want to know too. Wink But Henry might not have a 777 to compare the 999 with! Laugh Out Loud

kid.sensation - 2008-05-28 08:29

Guys i have a 999 and heard DJYetix 777 in Berlin at the meeting.

The sound in my eyes/ears is like this:

767, then 777/909, then 999 and best sounding of all is the 1000.

But i love my 999 to death..I think it has the best color-sheme of all the boxes in that category and it thumbs for shure Eek

good one Henry..

I believe that the 999 is still rather rare..I only know about mine and yours at the moment Big Grin

masterblaster84 - 2008-05-28 08:39

Cool henry but you just made the pioneer look so toyish, it looks downright tiny under that 999. Nod Yes

- 2008-05-28 08:47

yo kid the master litfan also has a 999 gf1000 pumpaction also has a gf1000, i realy am temted to get a 999 at some point too.

henrytai - 2008-05-28 10:27

i think GF999 sounds more solid than GF-777
I used to had a GF777 b4 so i know how it sounds
but GF999 looks real cool with open grill~!!

henrytai - 2008-05-28 11:41

if you think the SK900 is too small
how about a GF909?

Hot diggity damn! It's a sweet box with a sweet chick on that CD insert! Eek

baby.boomer - 2008-05-29 19:24

Hope you don't mind if I hijack your thread for just a minute to say how much I like the Pioneer SK-900. Small, but a good boomer, heavy, and crystal clear sound. No wonder this box shows up as a model kit and in CD graphics!

Cool CD cover too!
