Laugh Out Loud Yep, I think he hit one to many zero's when he entered the price.

I've never heard of a Zilba'P, but the woofer guards look familiar. Maybe another Sony has the same type...

It's definitely a nice looking box. I wonder if that's solid wood casing or veneered?

I found this:

Apparently, there were a lot of Zilba'P products:

First
Second

There is a version with SW radio and voltage selector. The guy who sold me Sanyo 9994 had one but would not sell it. Frown

retro.addict - 2008-05-16 10:40

If I had that machine, the grilles wouldn't be on very often - it looks CLASSIC without them! Cool But for $1000 with a non-working deck... someone's havin' a laugh! Eek Laugh Out Loud

erniejade - 2008-05-16 11:44

I had one. It was a decent sounding unit. I think mine went to Canada.

It is not real wood. it is 3 way speakers.

jameswp67 - 2008-05-16 13:13

Hey Erniejade, it went to me! I sold it about a year ago. I think its worth maybe $200 in great condition...

tpr - 2008-05-16 13:15

ZILBA`P means = Zoo Intelligence Learning Body Action Playing

bredgeo - 2008-05-16 13:24

$1000 is way to high! BUT that seems to be a Bbox to have for the looks! For sure!!!!!!!!!

- 2008-05-16 13:32

nah $10000.00 isnt too high for a Zelda Boombox ... But since the Cassette dont work &&& all I play are MY Casseettess then it inst worth too much to me and also me not to terribly into the Looks of these as to a outsider looking at where is the sound's coming from .... ME James is into how well it SOUNDS not what it looks Like...

I would rather have the Rustiest, dirtiest, disease giving, BEST SOunding Boombox! to Hear my sounds from & yes ... If you Touch it ... you die.

erniejade - 2008-05-16 14:51

LOL i knew it went to you James i was playin!! Smile

I think It was like $600 because of the shipping charges so $1000 is a bargin...

OK I KID

HAPPY FRIDAY!!

philip.lykov - 2008-05-16 15:12
