Haulin' BASS

oldskool69 - 2008-05-05 17:37

As I noted in T/A's thread we we're doing the same thing this weekend with my boxes. I cannot begin to tell you how much fun we had grilling hot dogs, Italian sausages and STEAKS! (YUM!) And listening to the boomers. My neighbors think I'm nuts and thought I was playing a home stereo when they heard the thump coming from the BASSment! Laugh Out Loud Even the baby was involved. My wife (middle) oldest daughter (left) and niece (right) had their favorites. My son (my youngest) had his favorite from his collection and my youngest daughter had her radio. My great nephew? Well he can't hold anything but I thought the RX-C50/60 were appropriate to sit in front of him. Big Grin I then posed for some myself. I didn't get a chance to get in with the wife n' kids due to time constraints (and no one to hold the camera) but it was still great to do since I don't see them all week and time is always a crunch right now. Here they are...

Next time were going to the park and see what happens there! Big Grin

And Ira...you have not been forgotten! Wink

THANKS D! Big Grin

I am humbled by all of your comments. Nod Yes I really can't begin to express how blessed I am. Big Grin The boxes are just a side show when you put it all in perspective. My family means the world to me and I know you all can relate so please allow me to pontificate...(Copy and paste really! Big Grin)

Allow me to elaborate,
To set the flava on yo plate.
When it comes to original stylin,
Even in cowboy boots,
Oldskools buckwylin,
Dope flava even with classical beats,
Boxes thumpin, make ya jumpin outta yo seats.
Three piece wonders, component sets,
Got some that even a Conion sweats,
M90's gotta love 'em, but they run and hide,
Gotta a modded C9 that'll skin it's hide.
My Panny RX-C100 thumps the pavement,
My Pioneer CK-5 is the class of the BASSment.
My PC-55 is loud and clear,
My CP-7 with looks that you wanna be near,
My RX-C300 is big and square,
With a sound that'll tingle all of yo hairs,
My Telefunken brings heat from the German way,
Mess wit the DT-680 someones gonna pay,
Yeah I gotta few more in the fam,
A Fisher 460 that can bring some bam,
An SCR-8 that'll really surprise,
And a Philips one piece that'll open your eyes,
I even got some on the junior set,
Like my RX-C50 that you won't forget,
With a family like mine I'll always win,
Ooops! Almost forgot my Vector twins!
And I could go on but you know the scope,
The bottom line...

OLDSKOOL IS JUST PLAIN DOPE!!!
