That's awesome oldskool. Nod Yes

I watched that box through two auctions and If I was really into the three piece box I would have gone for it. You'll have to let us know how it is after you receive it.

not sure -- if they are the prime manufacturer or the AKA brand only -- but i have a sanyo and an eaton viking box -- that are about identical -

and have seen that EV brand on lots of nice boxes which are 'samw as'

Best I know, it was the store brand of Eaton's Department Stores in Canada. (Once Canada's largest department store, Eaton's went bankrupt in 1999. - Wikipedia)

Very nice catch!! Big Grin

leestereo - 2008-03-20 21:41

Eaton was a chain of department stores in Canada, similar to JCPenney. They went out of business in the late 1990s, but there still is an Eaton Center in Toronto and also in Montreal. Viking was their in-house brand name, just like MCS was for Penneys.

oldskool69 - 2008-03-20 22:03

Thanks! I heard they had good stuff. I know JC Penneys stuff was rebranded Panasonic/Technics gear. I wonder who Eaton used. Smile
