I'm looking for a GF-9292 sharp BBX.
It's in mint condition, it has the sticker !!!! and fully working as the seller says.
It isn't cheap but I'll go for it
I wanted to know how is it, about sound quality, output power, deck quality.
Does it has the famous issue with the tire that goes agains the capstan ...

What BBX are at the same level, talking about sound quality.

I still don't have a mid size Sharp, the only I have is the mini GF-8X .. a hi-tech fully featured box.

hi success i had one in my hand about a month ago they sound pretty good i think a lot better than the 9696 but not as loud and the deck i do not remember i think it was the same but not sure but dont worry because its an easy fix,on my 9696 i used a piece of silicon fuel tubing that you can buy at the rc hobbie stores

My head hurts after reading that! I can vouch for the silicon fuel tubing. I used that trick on an old Sharp BT-10 cassette deck of mine.

fatdog did you agree that the 9292 sounds a lot better than the 9696 but not as loud at least my 9696 sounds very loud but the smaller 9292 had a better bass sound

What about bass. Does it have deffinition or only it's a kicker ?. I would prefeer good definition ...

I can't help on this, Ramon. I only have a GF-9494X. My experience with that one is - really loud, not too much bass. I consider it a box for rock and roll instead of rap.

In my opinion it is very similar to the 9191.

The optical difference to the 9292 are the needel-meters's

And the 9191 sounds better then GF 9494 or GF 9696
