I love anything that has to do with Boom Boxes but $300 is sorta steep I mean you pick up a nice working unit for that

jus sayn

Did any of you guys grab any of the Old Navy clothing line from last season ? They had some printed tees with all classic audio components and accessories. I had a few with Boxes, cassettes, head phones and some with Tech1200 turn tables

This was a much easier and less expensive way to let the passing on-looker know I was down with the sickness

then when they get old you can make a hot quilt to display your Boxes on in pics Big Grin

haha nah im not a big fan of old navy, but i did get a cool shirt from urban outfitters with a but load of printed boomboxes on them...and yeah 200+ for a necklace or ring is kinda steep, but then again theyre really cool Razz

LMAO Old Navy is kinda whack but my wife shops for her and the kids there so I usually end up with what ever fits into my life style LOL

I have to admit I love the shirts she got me though

I recall Urban Outfitters making a Radio/box necklace for real cheap.

That's really nice. Different versions of these often appear on ebay. Cool

I think the price is silly!, you have a real
boombvox for that money! Smile

Couldn't agree more nicole. Or indeed you could get a splendid walkman for that too.

I agree, too. Maybe if it were real gold (since gold is hitting record high prices, having slipped over $1,000/oz!) it would be worth that, and more. Otherwise, I'd rather have a REAl box.

Also, I think they should have used a more "classic" box style, instead of a mid-sized dual-deck thing. Then again, more people today probably own those things than classic big one-piece boxes.
