Theres a GF 800 for 20 euros, should I get it?

yes then sell it to me, as Mine Broke in transit - the dreaded Transformer broke loose and bounced around inside, otherwise Mine is in terrific cosmetic condition, it just dont do anything . sigh . item # 330194317110 James

I'd leave it myself. But that's cause I don't like 3 pieces and I really don't like it when the woofers are covered up.

But hey, I'm a fussy bugger!

If you like it, then go for it, the price is good.

GET IT!!! How many boxes will you get a ten band eq with??? I have the WF-939z and (when it works right) sounds awsome! Borrowed Pic Below.

I'd be mighty tempted to get it, but ultimately, I think the fact that it's a 3-piece would keep me away. Of course, that's just my opinion.

Good luck if you go for it! Smile

its a seriously loud, powerful piece of machinery. sound easily makes up for the looks.

Thanks for the advice guys. I didnt end up getting it. It wasn't for me, and I have enough boomboxes that I actually love the look of AND sound great. No, I saved some money, some space, and live to pump a sicker box....

Thanks for all your help and advice though!

By the way, that Sharp pictured sin't the 800, unless it's another version?

oldskool69 - 2008-02-24 10:21

They're really nice though. If I had forty bucks plus shipping to spare I would've had you send it to me! Laugh Out Loud

The Sharp in the pic is the WF-939z. This was at the top end of the three piece GF series of that era. Smile
