analogboi - 2008-10-17 06:26

This is my first post with pictures, so I may not quite have the hang of it. Roll Eyes

My rain water drainage project... But what's that in the background?

Closer...

There it is... Big Grin

Slightly different view...

And last night the RCM80 came out to play! Deck sanding project...the sun was setting, so the lighting is poor. I'll take a better pic if someone wants.

Hope you enjoyed the pics! Smile

You surely have odd mailboxes in Amerika! Eek

baby.boomer - 2008-10-17 07:02

BIG pictures for a BIG home improvement project and BIG boxes with BIG sound. Nothin' wrong with that!

All that's missing are some BIG brats on the grill. (No photos from Milwaukee are complete without them.)

peter.griffin - 2008-10-17 07:13

hahaha, good one BB. Analogboi, those are awesome pic's. Nothing like the "outdoors" and a "classic" boombox.

gluecifer - 2008-10-17 07:32

Love the pix Analogboi, nothing beats seeing radios in the outdoors.

Good luck on the decking!

Rock On.

jlf - 2008-10-17 07:43

Cool Nice stuff, what's the second one M60 or 80?

enskanker - 2008-10-17 11:09

M80 If I still think normal.

Notice big leaves too.

Small sander though.

analogboi - 2008-10-17 13:57

Thanks for the great feedback on the pics! Big Grin

Hey walkgirl, what do mailboxes look like in Holland? My mailbox is ugly, but typical of an individual house.

Yes, brats and beer too!! Cool

The second boombox is a RC-M80JW. It is very close in condition to my M70. The tuner is PHENOMINAL on the M80. I never expected this from a "digital" tuner. If it's in the air, the M80 can pull it in. The M70 has better overall sound quality. The M80 has a slightly "shouty," "midrangy" quality to it. Its not terrible tho, the M80 sounds real nice for Spanish music (lots of acoustic guitar). I'll post some full-size close ups of the M80 in the future. Nod Yes

The big plant is an "Elephant Ear." They grow during the summer, and in below freezing climates, you bring the bulb in for the winter.

I agree, the sander is way too small to re-finish a whole deck. It was being used for some touch-ups after a power wash. It works great on the railings. The sander is a Ryobi "Corner Cat" powered by a 18V lithium-ion battery.

Yes, ViennaSound the boomboxes must be used! ...and I am VERY carefull with them! By the time I fix their "issues" and clean them up, I've got so much time into them. Notice the M70 is tucked away in the shade, and the M80 is resting on a towel. Smile

monolithic - 2008-10-17 14:29

Man, that's gotta be the cleanest M70 I've ever seen! Eek Cool Nod Yes

Thanks for posting! Smile
