one thing about the 935 it sounds great to me, its a loud box too and gets attention and its very cool overall ,you just gotta love em.

All the big Lasonics (TRC-931, TRC-935, TRC-975, i931) top out at 14-inches tall.

With 2 iPod docks? I don't see that happening... Besides, Lasonic doesn't seem to be fond of "squares" these days.

weyland/yutani, what I'd like to know is if there's a difference in sound now that you've taken the foam out? Does it sound better?

That'd be cool, though I would prefer a i975. The funny part is, as cheap as the original Lasonics were made, they managed to up the cheapometer a notch with the i931. It's really a shame.

A mostly identical sounding i975 would sell much better imo.

Awesome!! the 935 is superb sounding - just like a boombox should sound and the lighted equalizers are the best. I like your no foam look too. I agree with you about the i931 - I haven't really bonded with mine yet either. The only really cool thing on mine is when I play some ipod videos on it.
