So I had my gf777 sitting around and I wanted to let it go. I didn't have time to fix it and I'm trying to save up for a new laptop. Someone on craigslist put up a wanted ad for a gf777 or conion, my buddy Petey Awol sent it to me. I emailed him and the guy had his friend come down to check it out. There was a problem with the 2 right speakers, he noticed it and said there might be a problem with the preamp, so he tried to lower the price on it. I said I would let it go for $250 and that was final. He saw my conion, went outside to call his friend, came back and took out 500 in cash. I immediately said no. Then he said 1000....!!!...i said no...he says NO?!...hahaha the reaction was priceless, but I just couldn't let go of it. He ended up beating me down to $200 on the sharp. I didn't buy the sharp, it was in the apt of my late grandfathers, so basically I wasn't losing anything. I mentioned 1200 to him for the conion, and he had to call his friend and they said forget it. Thats my little story..haha

I bet he pi$$ed his pants when you said "no." Good to see you're still around, Noid. Did you ever get your Conion fixed?

Great little story Noid. I'm pretty sure I've said "No" as well for my Clairtone (complete as it is). I was worried we wouldn't see you posting back here buddy. Glad you're still here with us. Peace

thanks guys, really appreciate you still remember me! haha I've just been busy with work and trying to do music and stuff, but I still talk to Petey Awol, hes a good guy. He jumped on the boards quick and learned his ways lol. As far as the conion, I plugged it in recently, and it seemed as if the problem went away. I'll play with it a little more and see if something happens, but as far as I know, its fine. So did I miss out on much??

Some of our toys are priceless enough to us that nobody would pay what it would take to make us part with them.
