Eek Oh my...this pic should have come with a warning: This thread may contain photos not suitable for sensitive viewers-viewer discretion advised Frown

I agree with you Fatdog, I'll even go so far as to say that girl with the Sharp is very cute. Great photograph! Thanks for posting these, Jens.

arkay - 2008-02-20 21:20

I agree the Sharp girl is cute!

And what's with the "death of a boombox" title on that pic? Heck, from what I've seen of the skill in restoring damaged boxes displayed here on S2G, that thing could be singing away and looking near-new in almost no time! Big Grin

That's a D8434. I agree, it's a nice looking box! Cool

I had a close look at the model number on that picture and made it out. I checked on google and found a site about it. Click the link below and take a look...

Here is my brother and his turbobass boombox cranking it Smile

peter.griffin - 2008-02-25 12:08

Girl with the Elta must workout, she's holding that beast like it's nothingSmile

isolator42 - 2008-02-27 06:47

That 3D7 is missing both tape doors & the volume slider tips. I suspect that's not all...

Agree with Rambo on the Philips D8434, didn't know that one. That web site put's it as a 1983 model. The twin scale tuner is similar to my D8134 from 1984. I kinda like the girl holding it too. She looks German?
