Sharp VZ-2000 belts, anyone bought from these guys??

Ok, I finally after 4 years of looking in NZ have a VZ-2000 on the way!

Obviously it will need turntable belts.

I found a bunch of people you can buy them off on the net. Most places cost around $18.

But these guys cost only $7.75. Anyone bought a belt of them?

Or these guys have 2 different belts available for the VZ, one of which are shipped with instructions which would be handy. Can anyone tell me what each of them is for. I'm presuming the $10 one is the main belt I need and the $5 is another belt that may also need replacing?

I'm thinking maybe I should get both belts from the turntable basics place, then I'll have it all covered and instructions and still cheaper than the $18 belts from most other places?

Anyone had some experience here??

Thanks guys.

I'm pretty sure that in addition to the FBM25.0, you'll need the SBT6.0 and FBS11.5. The latter two belts are needed for the tape mechanism. I noticed that Turntable Basics suggests the SBM 4.0 instead of SBT6.0, which would probably mean a much tighter belt. The FBS11.5 is for the cassette flywheel, which Turntable Basics doesn't even list.

I think you are right Rambo, there is the large belt that the turntable runs on and a smaller belt that is for the turntable timing mechanism. The guy I bought mine from showed me how to change them when I picked it from him because he had got it to work using rubber bands instead of the proper belts. It has been a year and it's still running perfect with the rubber bands. So I think the turntable part needs 2 belts and I am not sure how many belts go with the tape player. It looks like Fatdog's research shows 2 belts also neede for the tape player.
