Indeed geoff. Been listening to mine, for a few hours, today. Just kept digging tapes out to listen to. Not sure about the door label though. Still have mine, that came off this thing.

Congrats G!!
The M-90 is at the top of most collectors list,
and for good reason.
You definitely deserve it and who better to get one from.
None other than our resident M-90 adoption agency
redbenjoe. Nod Yes

redbenjoe - 2009-02-13 20:42

Hey is a Lasonic TRC 935 a super grail???????

Rock On.

gluecifer - 2009-02-13 21:49

It is to me. All the big Lasonic's are for me as, as you'd know, Lasonics are brutally rare 'round our neck of the woods.

I think a mint one is grail-worthy anywhere else on the planet too though.

All depends what you really want and consider important to your collection. But I think an M-90 is the 'ultimate' grail by and large for the majority of collectors... from what I've seen anyway.

I just need to find five grand to make sure I can get one!

Rock On.

Congratz on your M 90 Geoff.
She looks good.
Don't forget to switch the voltage selector to 240 Volt !!!!

erniejade - 2009-02-16 08:45

sweet unit. I still need to get me one!

isolator42 - 2009-02-17 14:33

Oh, congrats geoff.

I know there's buckets of sycophantic blurb about the M90 on here, but really, you'll be hard pushed to find a better sounding 1pc from a similar age.
I was exercising the deck on mine a few weeks ago - just an old tape with some 80s hair-metal on (Aldo Nova), but I ended up listening to most of the album on it, just sitting there. It's just such a satisfying listen... Smile

litfan - 2009-02-17 14:41

Aldo nova? Classic. Now you`re talking. "fantasy"?

isolator42 - 2009-02-17 14:57

hi lit, it was the album "subject".
they don't make stuff like that anymore... Smile

litfan - 2009-02-17 14:58

Alright. Even better. "all night long", "alway`s be mine". Bring it on.
