Earliest Boombox ?

drew - 2009-01-04 14:42

Joined recently, so I don't know if this has been covered....Who had the first boombox ? I've seen a data sheet on a Sony CF-550A dated 1972. I've been told RCA had a stereo cassette portable made in 1966.

Welcome aboard, Drew! I don't know about the RCA box, but member Bryann has/had a Crown Corder CSC-9350M that was manufactured in 1968.
