Hi , welcome to this forum.
Grundig are very solid built radios
I heard a few in the past and the sound is good.
Not like a Conion , JVC M 90 .........
The only Grundig i own is a Satellit 700
I like to do some SW scanning/listening sometimes

Welcome also from me

I own a few Grundigs - the RR3000 was a normal "kitchen"-radio. Nice warm, typical Grundig sound with a great tuner.

If you are looking for a big, cool and nice soundig Grundig unit, so go for a Grundig Party Center 1000 Stereo or the absolut top-version, the Grundig Party Center 2000 hifi. The 2000 got a synthesizer tuner from the Satellit-series, got 2 x 25 (real) watts on the net, and 2 x 5 watts on battery with a absolut fantastic sound.

But those are very rare once ...

Best wishes
TOM

I would say that they are the best sounding box of its size. I love it!

Thanks for the input, i also listen to shortwave and own a couple of Grundig Radios, FR200, YB400PE and Satellit 800. ( i know all made from Tecsun China) however i have repaired(by luck) a Grundig 700, nice sounding radio. I am used to Jap boombox but have yet experience any European boombox. That prompts me to post in this forum for your opinion.
