Hey people. I think the 3D fever just truck me.
First of all i hesitated quite a while before i made up my mind regarding if i should buy this bulky black square or not. I finally decided i should buy it just because it was a nice price, and therefore an investment.
However, i just got my TRK 7920. And i'm quite stunned, it looks sooo much better in real life than it does on pictures. I certainly won't let go of this.
Here comes a few pictures of my new beaut:
It is sure a work of art in my opinion.
I'm sad to say that it does miss a proper handle.
So if any of you members have a handle just lying around, don't hesitate to send me a hollar.Cheers

You see, now here's a guy with good taste.
Hey, tell 'em about how loud it goes & the bass thump.
Shame about the handle. It's not a weak part of this b-box, so if anyone's got a scrapper 3D7, it may well have it's handle still intact. If I happen across one I'll let you know.

They sure do sound good. I'll definately keep my eyes out for more models!
Anyone know if there's any other similar looking 3D BBXs like hitachis? (brands)

What are the watts across the three speakers? How many batteries does it take?

The watts: i dunno. but that small bugger takes a whopping 8 batteries! (them big ones)
You just know I can't stay away from this one

Three speakers? How very dare you, there's five - 2 piezo tweeters on the upper corners.
hmm. Piezos? OK, fair enough, three speakers it is then...
Output power for the TRK7620 / 3D7 is 14 watts.
That's 3W each for left & right & 8W for the centre woofer. Now this is proper watts, RMS @ 10%THD ("maximum" output varies from 22W - 60W depending on how silly the way of measuring it is - they're all pointless, IMHO).
To compare, the JVC M70 is rated at 7 Watts per channel (also RMS @ 10% THD), so expect a good fight between the two in a sound-off (although the JVC would surely win on sound quality).
Sure 8 D-cells is plenty, but when you consider the output, it's about right. Also, the batteries last for ages in this thing - believe me, I have
lots of experience of this

Anyway, here's the spec sheet:

Haha. There's a man who knows his 3D7's!
I've never heard any output from any metal piezo disk in any boombox. The only piezos I've heard with output are the Motorola-type horns or cones.
So, the 3 speakers quip was more subconscious than intentional. But, I see you took it with a sense of humor...
