anyone know the year that my sony cf560s was made, and if poss was it a foreign market model? i cant find it in any old sony brochures

I found a service manual dated 1976 on th CF-560S. Any Sony from the early to mid 1970s is nice, they set the standard for quality....I have a CF-580 from '76. (love it)

Sony started to lose it in 1980-85, and when production of boombox's left Tokyo to other parts of Asia about 1985-86, they had lost it all together.

The Sony CF units are amazing, not big and bad, but just so darn nice !
