I'm not sure,either. I picked up my D8443 for around $90 and its a good box. Its better than most people give it credit for,the sound on it is actually quite loud(just a step or two below my SCR-8)and it sounds really beautiful through the tuner. However,its not worth that much money.
$280.00! Holy crap, Brand new price was half that! Somebody has money to burn.
Agreed,I think a fair price for one of those is in the $80-100 mark depending on condition/functionality.
