Then this boombox must have been produced between 1978 and 1983.

the German Koerting went into bankruptcy 78 and was taken over by Gorenje that year.

1983 3/31 Gorenje Körting Electronic was illiquid as well.

devoltoni - 2008-08-08 05:43

UNITRA unit with ISKRA logo ("ISKRA" another Slovenian manufacturer of electronic parts, who produces and delivers various electronic produtcs in former Yugoslavia).
This cooperation with UNITRA is active in middle of 80'.
The unit is bought 1985 for about 150 DM. Same is not in good condition: Antenna is broken, cassette department is not work, but radio work very well.

Jens, will you please post the extra list of "(Cold war area till 89 )" products for my future research, until we wait for release 4.0 RELOADED VERSION of BOOMBOX DATABASE. I think that i have many opportunities, because as I know only I'm member in S2G from Balkans countries, and my opinion is that here has many strange boxes for finds.

devoltoni - 2008-09-02 08:04

Its my pleasure. I try to find more boxes purposely to satisfy all of you, my friends with same blood (boombox blood). Smile

Again, No name boombox:

devoltoni - 2008-09-19 07:22

Hi all, I found on Slovenian website for advert this bbx (at gift?)
Alco?
Elco?
Filco?
Any of this name is missing on the List.
Maybe am wrong?

P.S. Methinks that i'm alone in searching for the new BMT. Where are you people? Confused

POZDRAV (salute)

tpr - 2008-09-19 14:35

Man-you are surprising again!

Alco electric is a hongkong/chinese company.I `ve only seen newer radios from them.

the only quite similar box I found in the base was this prc-dangui sl779 IBBN 7-10545

devoltoni - 2008-09-20 07:31

Some of the bbx from here its not in the list. Smile
Tesla

tpr - 2008-09-20 13:03

these are in the base but extra listed under condor or tesla rsp.diamant,.. asw.

nevertheless thanks,I`ll think about this...

possibly it`s better to list them under the poland section. Nod Yes

devoltoni - 2008-09-21 05:16

Jens, I think that its not regular, why not in the new CSSR section. They claim that the Tesla brand is "Cehoslovakian" domestic.

tpr - 2008-09-21 05:32

ok-thanks I`ll create a CSSR section. Wink

Nod Yes

???

devoltoni - 2008-09-22 07:13

Yes, this is sadly. Confused

I'v been thinking about something. Maybe we should extended our search whit the acknowledged BMT with "new" model name!!

I saw these bbx:

Orion mono bbx with analog clock/timer model 1CRC
Fenner stereo double cassette model FR902
Sound mono model KC-6510
Aiko mono model ATPR-404
Samsung stereo model W-32L

Maybe some of this model is missing in data base.

And maybe in this way, the other members will be concerned more in searching. Smile
