jaredscottfla - 2008-07-22 05:42

Smile I know someone Has one!
I was Thinking about bidding on one on Ebay but saw it was up to $225.00
That Buyer Retracted(Foreign Bidder and Retraction Explination Was in French) Well now it's dipped to $56. Just wanted some Fb as To How This Turntable Box sounds. I know it'll Go back up(still Got a week Left) But Right Now Price is Cheap! Razz

erniejade - 2008-07-22 14:05

Want mine?

i have no idea how the heck to ship this thing. it has to be 40 lbs.

We are talking about the one with the turntable right?

jaredscottfla - 2008-07-22 14:13

Smileyep.
it is 40lbs.
i def would be interested ej. Everything functional on it?

jaredscottfla - 2008-07-22 14:16

Smile shipping cost isn't that bad i did an estimate on the auction page $37 from va to me in fla,the big prob would be getting a box to fit it,and it making the journey w/o being damaged.

jvc.floyd - 2008-07-22 14:26

i have one it sounds real nice and loud ,definately not easy to carry around cus it is heavy as hell and the build qualty is very good i would say it's easily the biggest box jvc ever made.

erniejade - 2008-07-22 14:30

If i remember correctly it all worked. I thought it might have had an issue with one of the speaker wires where it connects to the back of the unit was loose or you had to like bend it to get the other channel to go or something like that like a bad connector on the jack. I will check it out. It would probably do better in 2 boxes speakers in one and the mail unit in the other. Not sure. it is a heavy beast!! I will check it out as soon as I have a shot. PLEASE REMIND ME. I forget a lot especially with wedding season going on for DJ work.

Is the DC-7 the one with no eq, and the DC-33 the one that has one?

I Agree
The Buyer Stated The seller Chgd The Listing,HMMM... I See He Revised it But Maybe He Just Did not want to sell to an overseas Buyer,Who Knows? It Got Alot of Interest Quickly and Balloned up There,Now With The For. Buyer's Retraction is Pretty Cheap,Like i said It's Got a week Left Def am Curious What it ends at,I agree It is Very Impressive Looking. I Knew Someone on S2go would Have one and Give Me a thumbs Up or Down,Thanks again Floyd,And Big Thanks EJ Hope To Hear Back Soon! Smile

the speaker cabintets are wood they are ported it had the high ceramic woofers with seperate tweeters ,the battery box is on the back of the speaker ,it does not use a function selector switch you just push the button on the cassette deck or the tuner or the phono and it switches automatically ,there are no bass or treble controls just boost or cut buttons but it does have a loud well balanced sound ,i would say it's a typical high quality jvc unit and its not weak when it comes to sound.

masterblaster - 2008-07-22 17:21

I had one and as a boombox I was not really impressed. I thought the build quality was decent but nowhere near that of a pc55. The sound was ok but the looks and features were a bit plain for my liking.

jvc.floyd - 2008-07-22 17:44

even the m90 is not built as good as the pc 55 ,sound wise the dc 7 is no ghetto blaster but it does sound good its just different not better or worse than most.

Frown wow... well one pos and one neg,but i still want one! Smile

masterblaster - 2008-07-22 20:59

That one on ebay seems like its in really good condition...maybe my bias comes from the fact that its really not that portable...it was a while ago when I sold mine...if you could get a deal on it why not. Shipping seems a bit expensive

jaredscottfla - 2008-07-22 21:05

i'm watching it. i Hope Ej will sell me his. Smile

erniejade - 2008-07-23 14:07

wow the one on ebay looks like it is in great shape!!

Mine has not been cleaned in a while that is for sure!! lol

I have not had a chance to check the unit out to see what is up with it. it has been sitting for a while so i forgot.

jaredscottfla - 2008-07-23 14:34

Smile I Agree
