Sharp HK-9000: Opinions Wanted, Pros /Cons

master.z - 2008-11-26 13:40

I have a chance to pick one up, and I wanted to know if there is anything I should look out for when sealing the deal. Are there regular issues that owners have come accross?
I'm just looking for some input, pros, cons, etc.
I have searched past posts and the consensus says it's big as hell and equally as loud.
Please post pics if you got em,
Thanks!

Paul Z.

Obviously, check the cassette decks, missing doors, etc. The other thing to look out for is bad sliders.

They are fun, but HEAVY units. I had one not too long ago. Good luck and enjoy! Smile

Um.... Impressive... but I never bonded with mine.

It was fully restored inside, but outside was a bit rough, and its why I passed it along last year.

If I had a minty one, I would have hung on to it.

I just got mine a few days ago. I think it's pretty great!

I have one and a clone of one. Yet to hear them, but they look pretty wild.

I just saw your thread Vladi, it didnt come up when I searched earlier. Your box is looking clean and mean! This big bastard is gonna be sweet! I'll post some pics when it's in my hands.

Peace,
Paul Z.
