GF 777 restoration (Fatdog)

ez - 2008-07-04 05:07

Fatdog would you be able to help me restore my 777? Frown

The front trim is covered in corrosion marks. I gave it a bath tonight and actually realised that this part is just made of plastic Eek Anyway the unit looks terrible with these markings so i was thinking it would look pretty cool if I could put something similar to your repro lables over the top. Keep the same font as the original print on the face but perhaps give it a blue, grey, black etc background. Maybe even a few prints with different colours that you could just clip on and off. There might even be a demand for it with quite a few people suffering the same damage as mine below.

Anyone else interested in custom face plates for damaged 777 front trim???????

Anyway I'd be happy to pay you for this! Please let me/us know Big Grin

cheers

Down the line im going to need help with my tape decks on mine. My GF 777 is a project still on going. Already replaced the speakers with Pyle's. Hit me up Mr. Fatdog. I may need your services down the line. Waiting on money to be right before i take care of my hobbies.

Thanks in advance.

hmmm, not a lot of interest... Fatdog don't worry about it, i'm sure you've got enough things on your plate atm.

Well i might just see if my friend can sort me out, he does do graphic design after all. I'll take some measurements of the face tonight and get him onto it. I'll let you guys know how it goes and if it's worthy i'll put the file on here for fuzzy & and others to download. That way you can print off and customize your own face plates. cheers
