Aiwa HS J11

glam - 2008-11-16 11:42

Hi there,

Anyone owns an Aiwa HS J11 and need parts?

I have one and I was trying to fix it, however I could not figure out how the reverse mechanism works and I gave up.

Also, is it the smallest (or one of the smallest) cassette boombox made?

Cheers,

glam

Darn! I took it all apart...see if I can put it back together for a shot...

Mummm...I don't have permission to post pics...

Actually, there's a photo in the Walkman Museum and its under Aiwa HS J110.

J110 is black but the J11 is white.

The J110 and J11 are quite unusual - they have flat panel speakers.

isn't that a walkman?

Yeah, what's a HS-J11 look like?

Hi glam-

It's not that you don't have permission: you need to host the pics on one of the numerous picture hosting sites online, then post links to them here.

We used to host pictures directly on the site, but space issues forced us to stop.

We look forward to seeing whatever pictures you do put up.

Hi Panasonic Fan,

I'll send the pics to agentorange who is kind enough to post the pics for me.

Hey jameswp67 how are you? Hope you still remember me. Yes it is actually a walkman but I like to call it a 'minature boombox' since walkmans usually do not come with their own speakers, agree?

Cheers,

glam

I'd say it has a foot in both camps.

If nobody is intererested I'd quite like this Glam.
