Ok panasonic owners....edumacate me on my new pana

kittmaster - 2008-06-23 20:05

I won that pana, its here, its resurrected to 100% .....woohoo!

God I love spectrum analyzers!

Ok, model number: CW200

It has a 7 band EQ, and something call G.EQ and FD.EQ

When its in G.EQ mode, both channels respond to the graphic equalizer.

When in F.D. EQ mode, when above the 0dB line, it affects the left channel only and when below the line, it only affects the right channel.

My question is, "What is the point"?

Its an odd feature, I'm glad to know it, but really what does the documentation define its purpose as?

I'm at a loss.....

School me .......Smile

If I remember right, G. EQ is standard spectrum analyzer, your F.D. EQ will, if correctly done split from up the middle of the analyzer for the left and likewise down for the right. On one unit they had (and I haven't seen one since I was in Germany as a kid) it split the spectrum to appear as if you had two analyzers, one for each channel. Weird, but nice. Smile

BTW...speaking of analyzers...hows the Sharp? Laugh Out Loud

That FD mode for the EQ makes no sense to me at all - unless I'm misunderstanding, which is quite likely, to be honest...
When you figure it all out, do explain it to us, in nice, simple language Smile
