Anyone have pictures of a GE 3-5454A and 3-5635A?

pictures from database 2.0...

The bottom picture is of the 3-5635.I actually have one of those. It was a post "loud" era model for G.E. minis. There's not really much to say about it.It IS a boombox and nice if you need one.The top pictured 5454 doesn't look like it would impress either.Unless there's sentimental attachment to these models,I wouldn't go out of my way to get them.Just my opinions...

Yes I totally agree with Jovie, nothing great here for sure. I heard that top box,it pretty much sucks! As for the bottom,I'm sure it's nothing to write about either. Just my 2 cents... I Agree Wink

I want that exact one in the picture with the rust on the grills still intact.

I actually had a 5454 at one time and lost it when I was working in an apt. several years ago.
It was loud enough but yeah...that was about it... not really any bass was the only thing I found wrong with it. that's just my opinion. Leaving

DM4U-the third mini down in your stack is a G.E.3-5287.I have one of those and really like it!It is from the era when minis were unusually loud and powerful for their size. Also unlike the 3-5635 it has inputs and many metal pieces in it's construction. It's been my experience with G.E.s (there are a few exceptions) that the silver finished models were older and louder. The time coinciding with the introduction of darker colored models was the time also inputs disappeared, they had less overall volume, and their construction became primarily plastic. It's my bet that all 3 silver boxes beneath the black 3-5454 in your group picture are all very good performers!
