Hi Ira; Is the same as the bigger brother Sanyo M-9998K but smaller less heavyer and comparing the volume sound as loud as his youger brother Sanyo M-9994K but built like a tank just like the M-9998K gots good weight to it so if u are planing to get one make sure the price is right and by the way I just bought one last monday same one but made in German under the name Siemans Club 736. Good luck with that one .
