its a really awesome looking boombox. i bet its also a very clear and full sounding one as well. sanyo stuff from that era is quality.

wow congrats sikorsky, thats one sweet looking bbox, never seen one of them before, whats the modle number, you'll have to lets us know what the sound quality like when you get it(assuming you aint got it yet).

It is SANYO MR-X920. As I know, this is rate highly model for collectors.

I handled one of these briefly, on it's way to Potrokh (a Sanyo MX920, not a sticky DiscoLite

).
The sound quality was a near equal for the M90, rich & detailed.
Not quite as loud, however.

Also, somehow it looks better in person than in pics...
