moncheeto - 2008-01-29 02:33

fatdog - 2008-01-29 04:57

Fantastic, Henry!!

isolator42 - 2008-01-29 06:52

Is it me, or is the RC-M50 better looking than the RC-M70? I always felt the woofers on the M70 were a touch too small.

...could you give us a side-by-side pic of these two, henrytai? Smile

The first time I saw the M50, I thought it looked better than the M70. If JVC had put the same size speakers in the M50, I'd be all over it!

arkay - 2008-01-29 08:09

Looks fantastic, Henry! You're really getting them, now. Keep it up!

geoffhartwell - 2008-01-29 08:52

i'm pretty damn sure the m50 has the same size 6.5 inch woofers as the m70.

henrytai - 2008-01-29 11:57

check the new pics guys~

geoffhartwell - 2008-01-29 12:02

great pics henry. i realy do like the m50, gotta get me one of those

fatdog - 2008-01-29 12:40

Hot damn! They ARE the same size. Eek I guess the trim around the M70 speaker makes it appear to be larger.

Looks like an M50 is on my list now. Big Grin

kid.sensation - 2008-01-29 13:16

eddy - 2008-01-29 13:21

ak74 - 2008-01-29 13:57

...and the first Big Grin

litfan - 2008-01-29 15:13

I hate these boombox walls.

jovie - 2008-01-29 17:51

Quite an impressive wall henrytai! It would be nice to have enough of the same type of boombox to make a wall.In my wall, every "brick" would look different.I still wish they had made some of the bigger classics in diffent colors/color combos. Then you could collect all the colors also. This way you could get the same model of old box but each would be visibly different.

jlf - 2008-01-29 18:11

Totally awesome!!!

ned.209 - 2008-01-29 18:22

Lit you sound like you need an exorcism.

i like it. tell it like it is brother, spread the word, boomboxes are totally, totally wack. wiggidy wiggidy

isolator42 - 2008-01-30 07:28

thanks for the pics update - they answered my question perfectly Smile

In the blurb below:

...it seems the M90 M50 is boasting a max output of 9wpc.
Tell us, is the M50 as loud as the M70?

henrytai - 2008-01-30 09:18

yes yes yes
but less bass Smile

Isolator check the scan again, the M90 is rated at 20 watt max output per channel. Look at the lower right in the scan.

isolator42 - 2008-01-30 10:10

Oh cock, I meant the M50... above post now edited Smile

henrytai - 2008-01-30 10:13

if there is a loudness control in the M50
it's a beast~!!

nelsongf9696 - 2008-02-11 09:43

I'll say this the size difference between the M50 and M70 isn't much. The m70 however is louder more bassy and heavier. The M50 does not have balance control, both speakers are controlled with one knob.Nice Boombox though and one of my favorites.

mehyar - 2008-02-11 13:54

from scans of JVC manual, i think this is the
power range:

M50 9W+9W

M70 15W+15W

M90 20W+20W

- 2008-02-11 15:11
